On Dec 21st we were able to move into our new house. It wasn't supposed to be finished until the end of Jan, so this was an extra exciting development. We were so happy to be able to move in before Christmas!
We set up our Christmas tree even before we had anything else there. Just boxes and a tree. We were so grateful for all of the help of our family, volunteering to transport boxes into the house for us, and for helping with the kids for a couple of days so that we could move in and get settled!
I had a great day unpacking the kitchen, with the help of the sister missionaries. It was so great to get it all put togethr even before we moved in all the way, so we could feel settled really quickly.
This cute boy moved into a big boy bed in his new room. It was an exciting day! It was a while to adjust a new sleeping schedule, I don't know if he is yet adjusted but that is just life.
Moving day! We kept Kyndal and Deakin with us for the day. They had a fun time watching all of the commotion of the movers transporting all of our furniture
Getting festive around our new house!
Our annual Christmas Jammies picture! I love kids in new and matching pajamas. It is a tradition that was my favorite as a kid as well. It makes me happy!
We need some work on our jumping pictures!
Merry Christmas morning!
It was the most fun to be able to host Christmas in our new house! We already felt so at home here and couldn't wait to share it with our whole family! That is really the purpose of any home, to be functional to use for your family and to share time with all of the people you love! Merry Christmas!
We had a great time playing at the church, just after Christmas, with the Leavitts and a lot of their family and other old friends.
