Here are a few of the fun things that we did this summer.
We went one day out to Turner Valley to experience an authentic 50's diner, Marv's Classic Soda Shop. It was full of memorabilia that was consistent for the age. It was interesting to see. There was a juke box and it was great to see how many songs even the kids knew. That made us happy! We had a fun time there. We always spend a lot of time reading! Dawsyn has been really progressing in her reading and you can see here, her favorite book of choice, The Book of Mormon! It is really the best for learning to read, consistently challenging with all kinds of new words to practice sounding out! She still tries to read 3 verses every evening! It is a great goal and she is doing really well with it!
We are always doing a lot of Loving on this baby!
One day these boys were at home with me while the girls were probably off on a great adventure with Nana. They were both really grumpy but it was only mid morning. I discovered that they were really hungry when Marshall got into the fridge and was preparing for himself a leftover hamburger. These boys then sat and gobbled down burgers. It was an experience that reminded me of what hungry boys are going to be like in the future. They were starving, scarfed down their food and then were much happier!
A day at heritage Park!
Mimicking the baby's "crazy eyes".
Cuddling with Daddy!
These boys are so full of energy!
Marshall never lacks enthusiasm. This face seems to show the way that he feels about everything.
After a movie date there are plenty of pretend glasses around for the boys to enjoy. Baylor is the cutest little 4 eyes around!!
