Lake Day

We had quite an adventure at the lake one day this summer.  We went after nap time and it was still nice and hot though the sky was becoming a grey kind of color.  We had a great time and even picked up pizza and called daddy to come meet us there after work.  Well, after inviting Paul the winds began to pick up and brought with it darker clouds.  Paul had arrived for a matter of minutes before the sky let lose, pouring down hard on us.  I love some of these before and afters!

Our life is so full of adventure.  Once we made it to the car, most of us had a good laugh!  Some took a little while longer to warm up before they were ready to laugh about it!

Marshall the 5 Year Old and the Candy Train

Marshall loves all things train these days.  He watches the c-train out our front porch, he runs outside to watch if he hears a freight train going by, he gets mad if we are driving and don't see a train, I think he stays up from going to bed to watch for trains out his window, we read train books, he makes all sorts of train noises, he has even gotten to ride on the c-train (a highlight of his life).  So of course for his birthday he got a candy train cake. I love the look on his face.  He was a happy boy!

My big 5 year old.  He reminds me of his daddy, the way that he loves to wear a plain white shirt!

He was super excited to get money for his birthday! Can you tell!

Moments

Here I again find myself facing 4 months of great memories and pictures to catch up on. This avenue of journalling makes me happy, I enjoy documenting our adventures in this small way, but it is going to always be looking into the past and being behind.  I just think that is the nature of it. My expectations are just to continue to press on trying to have a documentation of these good days.  Our days are filled with crying, fighting, stress, work but also with moments that are so beautiful that it makes it all worth it.  I do not want to forget that it is hard as that helps me to be understanding but I am here documenting the beautiful and amazing parts.
These moments when my darling daughter is experiencing such joy in making her baby brother smile!  Them playing together like this is so wonderful!

Baby smiles always bring so much Joy!! Even his crazy eyes make me laugh!

Elliette is never ending in her funny moments.  She is so goofy and makes us laugh! Having a minute to cuddle with my Baylor!
Letting the boys run around our house once the drywall was complete.  We were able to show them their rooms and now they actually look like a room and they can run around it!  So sweet!
We had some time at Calaway Park this year. We got to go twice as our first day we got a raincheck, the park was closing in 2 hours.  We were dressed warmly and got to spend 2 hours with the park nearly to ourselves.  Here are our kids the only ones on the bumper cars.  They love to just hit each other anyways, so it was perfect.
Marshall had such joy in the train and car rides. He is so sweet!

The second time we went the weather was hot and beautiful.  We had to wait in some lines but had a longer day there enjoying the time together! An outing with the kids just for the fun of it was great!

Moments of such sweetness and kindness and care towards her brother!
This boy has many moments of cuteness.  He just can't help it!
These sweet girls teaming up to all give daddy a back rub!  He is one lucky daddy!  And they are 3 lucky girls!
Elliette dressing Deakin up in a bow tie.  She is being so sweet to her brother!
Dawsyn loves to have time at her grandparents.  She often calls them to ask when she can come to sleep over. After one sleep over she was able to go on a little bird watching adventure in Fish Creek park.  Here is some of those amazing moments!

Paul did a lot of riding with the girls this summer.  They had some really great rides through Fish Creek, building up for their big ride (more on that to come). Him getting to spend more moments with his girls is what life is all about.
Moments to celebrate when everyone is working nice on their schoolwork. It must be documented and celebrated!
Kyndal wanting to learn to cook.  She started making some guacamole.  It was delicious!  She has good knife skills there!
Dawsyn is really good at helping with Deakin.  He was smiling in the mirror previously and now his look of surprise and shock at himself is just priceless!
Kyndal happy to have made herself a new pair of pajama pants!  We worked together and are looking forward to more sewing projects in the future!

I am so happy to record and share such beautiful moments in our life!

Deakin's Blessing Day

We had a very special day in which we blessed our sweet baby Deakin.  We were able to have his blessing during our Gainor family reunion and have a large number of family attend church with us to be a part of Deakin's special day.  It was so wonderful to have our family share in this with us and then to join us at our house afterwards for a BBQ.  Here is a couple of pictures of our baby on his blessing day.

I call these boys my big baby and my little baby.  Baylor still seems pretty little to me and needs so much of me.  So I still consider him just a bigger baby!

This boy gets comments everywhere we go on his hair!  It is hard to look at this baby and not smile!

These boys also get told all the time that they all look exactly alike. There is definitely a strong family resemblance!  They all fit right in!

Here is our sweet preteen!

Beauty!

I love the ocean!  It is so magical and beautiful to me!  But nothing tops sharing it with my little beauties!  Seeing it through my children's eyes is even better!  All of this beauty, my love is indescribable!
