Twins

These girls do get asked if they are twins.  They have some matching clothes and are pretty well the same size.  Elliette has maybe 2 inches on Dawsyn and one shoe size.  It is tricky to have their clothes split up as they are really the same sized clothes.  I bought Dawsyn some pants one day that were size 6, as is appropriate since she just turned 6, and I bought Elliette size 7, as I couldn`t bear to get twice as much of the same size.  This was a mistake as the 7`s are so big on Elliette, even though she is 8.5 years old.  They are cinched up in the waist and ballooning out in the bum.  She is just so small.  What she lacks in size she makes up for in strength and personality!
These girls are such great friends!  They play together all day long.  Dawsyn wants to keep up to anything that Elliette does.  Elliette is so wild and crazy and good at anything physical.  She values being tough and is always showing us her muscles.  We have a good laugh at this game, as she does have a great ``Boom``, as we call it!

This boy had to get into the wrestling fun.  He loves to wrestle these days.

3 Year Olds Are Trouble!

The girls were making cookies one day and here is Marshall``s contribution.  Thankfully he was cute as it took a long time to get all of the flour off of every surface.
As I always say, ``Welcome to my life!``

My Baby

It goes so fast for my baby to be growing so big.  Here are some updates of pictures of this happy baby.  He is super independent and happy.  He is a great eater and pretty good sleeper, he has crawled since he was 6 1/2 months and is always on the move!  This baby is so adored!
I can't get enough of him sucking those middle fingers.  I had never seen anyone ever do this but I have had many people that have seen him tell me that their babies sucked their fingers the same.  So funny!
Playing peek-a-boo at the dentists office.  Dawysn was getting some cavities filled and Baylor and I played in the waiting room.  I had a good laugh as someone said to me 'wow, aren't you busy', when I had only 2 kids with me.  They were probably grateful that we didn't have the whole circus with us!
Baylor has been my only baby that spit up a lot.  Most of my babies pretty well never spit up, though Marshall did only a little at first.  Baylor spit up a lot.  Here is Paul with the proof that when he was playing with Baylor he puked on his chin.  He was just so grateful it wasn't into his mouth.

My sweet baby!

Dawsyn is a great helper with Baylor.  Often during primary time, I am busy getting things organized, and I put the baby down to roll around when he was smaller, or to crawl around on the ground.  When I would look around for how he was doing he was almost always in Dawsyns arms.  She sometimes held him for half an hour.  It is so cute to see him in her arms as she is bouncing him around, he is half her height, and it is hard work for her.  She loves every second that she gets to take care of him.  She has always loved babies, ever since she was one!

Dawsyn took these pictures of me cuddling and playing with my sweet baby boy!

The high cahir pictures are the easiest as he is contained.  And looking so cute!

Baylor's first time at the beach and playing in the sand.  This day he didn't crawl off of the blanket, he was unsure of the sand moving under his hands.  The next time at the beach he went straight to eating the sand, by the handful and even getting his face down into the sand to eat it.  It is always the first 2 years at the beach that my babies eat sand straight.  It is gross but they don`t seem to mind it.

Cuties playing together in the wagon.  They love to borrow the neighbours wagon and run as fast as they can up the street with it.  Thankfully they were being really careful with the baby in there.  The girls also love to take him walking up and down the street.  Holding onto his hands he will stand a kind of walk, so they try to take him out walking.  He is just happy to do whatever his sisters want to do with him, for the most part.

Here is my Dawsie Babe!

Here is an update of my precious Dawsie.  She is kind and sweet.  She is an incredible helper as she is so empathetic and really loves people.  She is funny and tough.  She so wants to keep up with her sisters, and she is often able to do whatever they do.  She loves to cook and always wants to make her own salads, because she wants to cut stuff with a sharp knife.  But anything she loves to be by my side in the kitchen.  She loves to take care of littler people and asked me the other day if she could take her babysitting course yet.  She just loves to look after people.

Dawsyn is the 4th generation of 3rd born children on the Wigg side.  Even the 3rd child from both parents. I think this is really neat and she often reminds me of me. I really relate to this girl.  She is often a peacemaker and is kind and sharing.  That being said, no one could push this girl around.  She is feisty and will defend herself and justice for anyone else, even if by force.  She is not afraid of a fight. Wow, do I love this kid!!

Here is my Dawsie Babe, 6 years old!

I love this girls hair so much.  It is thick enough and so silky soft.  It is so long and blond and she is so good at getting her hair done.  I love to do it.  She also loves to take it out, so here is a leftover braid, that was probably cute, and she loves to have it all 'curly'.  I guess that is the desire when you have hair so straight,

Dawsyn needed some dental work done.  It required 2 appointments.  They had suggested that she have laughing gas.  She has done great at dental, or other type appointments and they only wanted to use anything because she was young.  I deferred as I knew she would be a great patient.  She was not nervous, actually excited and counting down.  She sat there and did all that she was asked, an ideal patient.  After the appointment she got a pack of gum as a prize and she also came home and ate lunch.  The poor kid totally chewed her lip raw.  I noticed it swelling and it took me a few minutes to realize that she was chewing it like crazy.  That took nearly a week to heal as her lip was 3x its regular size.
She sure can hold a scowly face!
We did an experiment of exploring some owl pellets.  It was gross but fun and Dawsyn stayed and finished picking all of the bones out of it long after her sisters had given up.  She even dissected theirs for them.  She is one tough kid and loves to explore!

What a goofy kid!  I can't get enough of that sweet face of hers!

Here is Dawsyn's 6th birthday!  She did want to have a party this year.  She went to the wave pool and bowling and had her cousins all over for cake.  It was a whole eventful birthday weekend.
Dawsyn had a great time decorating her cupcakes with marshmallows.  She is so very sweet, loved and happy!

Happy Birthday my sweet 6 year old!
