Our Darling Nearly 3 Year Old

This boy is so well adored in our house.  He loves his sisters and they love to look after him.  He is such a sweet personality, so easy going, but we are beginning to see a few changes as he approaches closer to 3.  I am always talking about how 2 year olds get all the hype for being in trouble, with the terrible 2's saying, but anyone who makes it past 2 must know that they get way worse at 3.  Marshall our sweet easy boy is beginning to have very strong opinions about life and how things should be going.  This means more fighting and whining, not so fun.  Thankfully we have been through this stage a few times and can deal with it.  Its a good thing he is just so cute!

The girls had a fun time with him this day.  They called him prince Marshall of the Cars, they made a comfy box for his car and a crown and pulled him around the house in it for an hour.  It was really cute to see all of them working together just to entertain their brother.  He carried that crown around for a few days after this.  It has cars and wheels decorating it, just perfect for this little boy.  It was pretty cute.

A 5 Year Old!

This sweet babe turned 5!  It is so hard to believe how much she is growing up!  She is a very funny personality.  She is sweet but feisty, caring but temperamental, she is such a good sharer and she can be so thoughtful of others but then attack them a moment later.  She is quite a mixture of fiery determination yet so sensitive as well.  It is so amazing to know your children so well and all of the parts that combine to make up who they are.  It is so interesting how qualities combine to make up who we are, and our strengths and weaknesses. 

 Anyways, my sweet Dawsyn is such an amazing girl and I love to see her learn and grow.  This kids loves to learn!  She is really into trying to write all of the time and writes all kids of letter combos and loves having me try to read them out.  It is very funny!

 This girl does love to pose.  I guess that could be true for most girls.  I don't know where they come up with all of the poses but they will keep doing them as long as we have a camera out.  So here are a few of them.

For Dawsyn's birthday we had a nice family supper with cake and then we had a great Easter dinner just after with her cousins.  It was a nice day that we got to celebrate together with family.  Pretty low-key but enjoyable.  Happy Birthday my 5 year old girl!
