A Day at St Patrick's Island

We discovered that we are able to load up our bikes, bike trailer and our kids all into our 2 vehicles and travel somewhere to go for a bike ride.  This was a really awesome discovery!  It opens up a whole new world for biking with our family and we have since done it a few times.  This day we invited mom and dad to join us and we parked past the zoo and rode to the newly developed St. Patrick's Island.  It was a great development of this island with parks, paths a great shallow inlet of the river coming through for the kids to play in.  We had a great time.

The park was fun and reminded me of parks from when I was a kid.  Going back to wooden park structures and real rope and such.  These fun spring boards the kids had a great time jumping on and off.

A big hill is perfect for running and rolling down and these crazy kiddos were not going to miss out on any of that!

So another fun adventure, getting out and being active together and exploring a new place.  It was such a wonderful day together!
