It is great to be all together to give the baby his first bath. I love it being a family event. The kids love to watch and see if the baby likes his first bath or not. And then we talk about whether they liked their baths. Who screamed, who turned super red, who settled in and hung out in the water. They all love to hear about what they were like as babies. Then they really relate when they watch Deakin as a baby.

These pictures are upside down as that was the side that was left for Paul to watch and be taking pictures. He didn't really love his bath but he did settle down having a minute to float in the warm water. I love all of his hair floating on the water!

Deakin is such a hairy baby. Not just on his head but all over. We have had babies with hair on their back, shoulders and ears before, with this kind of hair on their head also but Deakin was taking it up a notch with hairy forehead, his eyebrows connecting to his hair line and great sideburns. It is so funny to kiss his fuzzy little forehead. He is so cute and hairy all over!
