We enjoyed a simple celebration of Paul's Birthday this year. He enjoyed making his first brisket on his Big Green Egg with a fun new gadget that he got for his birthday. It took 19 hours to cook and wasn't done until 2 in the morning. I was awoken by Marshall then as well and came down to check on Paul, so we enjoyed having a taste of his meat at 2 in the morning.
His birthday was pretty low key as we weren't making many plans, waiting on having our baby any time. It was fun to have Sharan here, and Paul had a few days off that we did a bit of running around. It was a nice day. Happy Birthday, my Dear!
