We made a great list for activities to do this summer. We all got to contribute. There were some things that we didn't manage to do as we had a sick baby for over a month but we were still very happy with what we were able to accomplish!

So here is a quick summary in pictures of our summer fun!
Lots of time at the beach!
These cute boys playing together! it is so fun to see them growing together and developing a relationship! I love so much to watch them entertain each other. It's the cutest!Time visiting with family at the beach! It is a perfect day to sit in the sun, at the water, and play with cousins, or catch up with family that we love! It is best!
Marshall got a bigger bike this year. It was a real blessing s he could then progress onto longer bike rides. he loved riding his bike and not a day would go by without him asking to go for a bike ride. We did a lot of riding to the beginning of fish creek park, by the train station and watch trains go by. We would throw rocks into the creek, watch a few more trains and ride home. That would make this boy incredibly happy!
This growing boy is so amazing! He had been sick, throwing up every couple of nights, for over a month this summer. So we are trying to fatten him back up once he was well. He was always still a very happy baby though!
We had the best time with Nana with us for 3 weeks this summer. The only problem was that it wasn't long enough. We will need her for the whole summer to be even near satisfied!Paul and I enjoying lots of date nights! This was one with very memorable milkshakes! I love date night!
Making these boys very happy by taking them for a ride on the ctrain. This was Baylors first time riding one.
These cuties going for a sleepover at grandmas. It is their new favorite birthday tradition. I can't think of a better birthday present then time with grandpa and grandma!
Kyndal probably doing some bird watching with grandma. They really share this love together!

This baby boy getting to be so much more capable and independent! It is so fun to watch!
Auntie Ashley getting to experience 'The Book with no Pictures!' I love sharing a good book, especially with results like this! One of our summer goals was to get a kiddie pool. It was really fun for a hot day at home!
We had a day at the stampede with the big girls. This was part of their schooling this year, as they did stampede school this year. This is where they went with our amazing group of homeschoolers and were at the stampede grounds for a week. They studied the history of the stampede, the art on the grounds, the impact in different aspects, they did equestrian activities, met the stampede Queen and princesses, had an art lesson with a western artist and more. It was a great week. We also did field trips all year that went along with the theme of our local history, economy and service projects for our immediate area. it was a great year, and great to celebrate it by going to the actual stampede. We enjoyed the midway, the show horses, the animal exhibits and the grandstand show.
One day the kids all made different sand sculptures as they were buried in the sand. Marshall was a car, Dawsyn a turtle and Elliette and Baylor a volcano.
Baylor was especially excited. He kept being a lave monster and roaring at anybody that came within his shouting distance.
We loved cycling lots of evenings. This is one of the sunsets that we enjoyed!
Our time at heritage park. It was great to measure these girls. They are the exact same size. As shown by this great balancing act!
