We have welcomed our baby into the world! Our Baby boy, Marshall Paulson Gainor was born Aug 21 at 1:03am. We had intended to go to the hospital but as things progressed faster then intended, the midwives arrived to assess us and we were ready to deliver. So the baby was born at home 23 minutes after the midwives arrived. It all went so well and fast, which is such a blessing. The girls slept through me labouring right next door to their bedroom but Kyndal awoke within a minute after he was born. It was really great that she could experience with us, while missing all of the graphic parts. She was so cute and excited, wandering sleepily into the room to see what the sounds were. She said that she could hear the baby crying. It was so sweet, an experience she will never forget!
Cuddling my boy. The experience of a new baby always just blows me away. It is truly a miracle. It feels surreal that we wait and plan and wait for our baby and then he is here. He is his own little person, it is just crazy. Feels even more crazy to look at my girls and remember the days when they were just tiny new babies. Such amazing experiences to be a mother!!
Our babe being measured. The midwives called this a Fish scale. It is so fun! I loved his little feet poking out!
Our growing family!
Some more of our family. Each girl had to have a turn to hold him for the pictures. He is sure loved by all of us!
Dawsyn has always been in love with babies so it is no surprise her excitement for her baby brother. She said all the way through my pregnancy that it is a baby boy. Now she says all day long that she wants to "hold it again." She is just so amazed by him!
Kyndal and Elliette spending time with their favorite boys!
Marshall looks the most like Elliette when she was a baby. He has the same hairline, and I think that her hair was as dark as his. She also has always had very expressive eyebrows. She can furrow her brow and wrinkle her little forehead. She has really loved hearing this. She is loving to spend time with her baby brother!
Great pictures Kamille. I will always love marshall's birth story
